Russian drones struck a shopping centre in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on Friday, killing at least 14 people and wounding more than 130, including 23 children, regional officials said, according to the BBC. The regional head later put the death toll at 15.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said a second drone hit the mall roughly half an hour after the first, calling it a deliberate "double-tap" strike aimed at emergency workers responding to the scene, according to France24. The Boston Herald reported 14 confirmed dead as of Friday.
