This is a news and analysis site. What you read here is general information and commentary, compiled from publicly available sources. Accuracy, and the absence of a warranty

We take care with what we publish and we correct what turns out to be wrong, but we give no warranty of any kind — express or implied — that the content is accurate, complete or up to date. Articles are produced with AI assistance and may contain errors. Coverage of a developing event is provisional by nature and may be overtaken within hours. Where a piece contains opinion, assessment, inference or a hypothesis, it is identified as such: those passages are the honest opinion of this publication at the time of writing, based on the sources cited, and are not statements of fact.

Please say which article you mean and what specifically is wrong. We look at every complaint promptly. Where a correction is warranted we make it and mark it; where a piece is unsound we withdraw it. If an article concerns you personally, we will consider a statement from you and publish it with the article where that is the fair remedy. We ask you to come to us first: almost everything is put right within a day, and it costs nobody anything.

Passages quoted from other publications appear under the right to quote for the purposes of reporting, criticism and review, with the source named and linked.
